This item is NOT an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It holds accurately cast wheels with realistically weighted (deformed) tires, which replace the wheels from the base Trumpeter kit and give a model of the Grumman F9F Panther carrier jet fighter in 1:48 scale a more faithful look on the ground.
The Grumman F9F Panther was one of the first successful American carrier jet fighters. It was used above all in the Korean War, where it served both for attacks on ground targets and for escort.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. The weighted tires come out best after painting and a gentle dusting with pigments. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
