It is not an airplane model but an accessory, a complete cockpit, which replaces the cockpit of a plastic kit of the two-seat American F/A-18F Super Hornet carrier-based aircraft. The set usually takes in both tubs, the instrument panels, side consoles, seats and details; it also tends to come with small photo-etched parts.
The F/A-18F Super Hornet is an American twin-engine carrier-based multirole combat aircraft, two-seat in the F version. The tandem cockpit is clearly visible under the canopy glazing, so a faithfully cast resin interior lifts the level of a build decisively. The set sharpens the shapes of the instrument panels and the seats and adds the three-dimensional quality that injection-molded plastic cannot offer.
Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond the resin and any photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Dry-fit it into the fuselage and reckon with some reworking. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
