A resin accessory from RESArm. It is not a model of the aircraft but a set of the Soviet FAB-250 high-explosive fragmentation aircraft bomb of the early design, meant to be hung under a model aircraft in 1:48 scale. The castings reproduce the shape of the body of the bomb and the fins.
FAB-250 is the designation of a Soviet aircraft bomb weighing about 250 kilograms with a high-explosive fragmentation filling. Bombs of this family were among the basic armament of Soviet bombers and ground-attack aircraft. The early design pattern served for area bombing of ground targets.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend spraying a base color and then choosing shades faithful to the period.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
