An accessory for models of helicopters in 1:48 scale: machine-gun armament kept under the designation FN HMP250, which is carried on an external pylon.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory part for building models of helicopters. It captures the machine-gun weapon station kept under the designation FN HMP250, that is, armament that a helicopter carries slung outside the fuselage, not in an open door.
An armed light helicopter is a subject that kits usually do not think of. The box form tends to be clean and without stores, so the model looks like a machine in a transport role. The accessory deals with that difference and allows the same type to be built in an armed form. A separate accessory, moreover, will carry finer detail than the parts from a box tend to have, which shows most with armament of elongated shapes and openings.
Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder down, so as not to touch the shape of the barrel. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; on resin ordinary polystyrene cement does not hold and cyanoacrylate is needed. Try the pylon and the part dry, and it is a good idea to check the position against a photograph of the real machine, because every type carries the pod in a different place. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. The metal parts of the station look better in a dark steel color completed with a light gloss than in pure silver.
The package contains the accessory named. A kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
