A resin detail set for the engine and fuselage guns of the Fw 190A-8 in 1:48 scale from Eduard — an upgrade for the plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set with added photo-etch from Eduard, intended for the superdetailing of the kit of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 in 1:48 scale. It is not a model in its own right but an upgrade set that replaces plastic parts with faithfully cast resin ones. The set is designed for the Fw 190A-8 kit from Eduard.
The set brings a finely rendered BMW 801 radial engine and the MG 131 fuselage guns, which on the real machine were hidden under the bulges of the cowling ahead of the cockpit. An open engine bay or exposed guns bring a model to life considerably and make it possible to display the machine in a maintenance setting. Check the exact number of parts and the extent of the photo-etch in the instructions in the package.
Separate the resin parts from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and degrease them. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the photo-etched parts are bent and fixed with super glue as well. Protect your airways while sanding. It pays to paint the engine and bring it out with a wash before fitting it into the fuselage.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an airplane. It is supplied unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
