The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H double-sided express mask Art Scale 1:48 is a set of precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape from the Czech maker Art Scale. It contains neither a model nor paint: it serves for quick, clean masking of the canopy glazing and usually of the wheels as well during spraying. The double-sided version masks the outer and the inner face of the glazing, so the canopy frames can be painted from the visible side too.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H was a German high-altitude fighter from the end of the Second World War, derived from the Fw 190. A long wing of great span and a supercharged engine gave it its performance at high altitude; it reached combat only in small numbers. The teardrop canopy with its frames is a rewarding target for accurate masking, which this set makes simpler.
The set is intended for a particular 1:48 kit of the Ta 152 H fighter; the dimensions match its glazing. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
