A set of realistic seat belts for models of Fw 190 fighters of the late versions in 1:48 scale. It is neither photo-etch nor resin: the belts are made as a 3D printed self-adhesive decal, that is color, raised straps with buckles and hardware printed on a flexible film. Thanks to the pre-printed color and shading they need no painting and once applied they look faithfully three-dimensional. It is made by the Czech brand Art Scale (ASK).
The belts are released from the backing and placed on the pilot seat, where the pliable film follows the shape of the cushion and the backrest. They are easy to apply by pressing them into their final position; the joint can be secured with a small drop of cyanoacrylate glue if you like. The set lifts the detail of an open cockpit considerably without the laborious folding of photo-etch.
The set contains self-adhesive 3D decals of the belts. The seat, the model and paints are not included in the package.
