An add-on set, not a kit of an aircraft. It contains one 3D-printed resin AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife laser targeting pod in 1:72 scale from Reskit. The fine surface detail brings the stores of a model to life.
The AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife was one of the first laser marking and targeting pods, which made the use of laser-guided munitions possible. It appeared on American strike aircraft during the Vietnam War, typically on types such as the F-4D and the A-6A.
Wash the part free of print resin residue and separate it from the print supports. Glue it with cyanoacrylate and protect your airways when sanding. Lay down a base coat before painting; pods tend to be in gray or camouflage shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
