An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6 fighter in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard, in the premium ProfiPACK edition. That means plastic rounded out with color photo-etched parts, some of them pre-finished with printing, pre-cut masks for the glazing and the wheels, and a decal sheet with several marking options. The machines come from the Eastern Front and the Western Front and from the night defense units over Germany.
The Fw 190 was one of the best German fighters of the Second World War. The A-6 version had an air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine and strengthened wing armament, and it became one of the most widespread variants of the A series. Its robust structure, good handling and heavy firepower made it a dangerous opponent on every front.
Finish and paint the cockpit using the color photo-etched parts before you join the fuselage. Mask the glazing with the enclosed masks. Apply a primer, then spray the typical German camouflage, gray shades with mottling on the sides, with an airbrush. Use a gloss clear coat before the decals, a matte one after them, and a fine wash in the panel lines. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
