A resin detail set of the engine for the Fw 190A-8 in 1:48 scale from Aires. An accessory for a faithful rendering of the powerplant, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail engine set for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory makes it possible to show the powerplant exposed with its accessories, the engine block, the exhausts, the auxiliary units and the engine mount, for a striking build with the cowling open.
The Fw 190A was powered by the air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine, a fourteen-cylinder two-row radial. The compact powerplant with its characteristic cooling fan was one of the key elements in the performance of this German fighter of the Second World War.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The engine comes into its own once the individual units are painted carefully, the lines picked out and a gentle patina added. For a striking look, leave part of the cowling open.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
