A resin air intake for the Fw 190D-11/D-13 in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. A more accurate intake on the engine cowling, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part, not an aircraft kit. A finely cast resin air intake that replaces the plastic part from the base kit and adds accuracy to the shape of the intake duct on the side of the engine cowling of the German fighter Fw 190D in 1:48 scale, specifically the later D-11 and D-13 versions.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D, nicknamed Dora, was the long-nose version of the famous German fighter from the end of the Second World War, with a liquid-cooled inverted-V Junkers Jumo 213 engine. The extended nose and the characteristic side air intake set it apart from the radial-engine A-series versions. The D-11 and D-13 were late, more heavily armed variants. A more accurate intake casting visibly lifts the accuracy of the model's front section.
This is a resin detail part, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
