A plastic kit model of the German Panther Ausf.G medium tank in 1:48 scale from Tamiya, from the Military Miniatures range. The model captures the typical features of the most widespread version of the Panther, the simplified hull sides and the later armor arrangement.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War, valued for combining a powerful long 75 mm gun, sloped armor and good mobility. The Ausf.G version was the most numerous and the most mature in production terms, with a revised hull; it was deployed on the Eastern Front and the Western Front in the final phase of the war.
Finish the running gear and the lower details before closing up the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and prepare the surfaces with a primer for the airbrush. German three-color camouflage schemes and a winter finish suit the Panther well; washes, pigments for mud effects and lightly chipped edges done with a dry brush will complete the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
