Colored relief interior elements from Quinta for the Gloster Gladiator Mk I in 1:48 scale, for the I Love Kit kit. They are applied by the wet method.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Gloster Gladiator is a British single-seat fighter biplane of the 1930s and the last fighter biplane of the Royal Air Force. Compared with the older machines it had an enclosed cockpit, which was a novelty on a biplane: the pilot no longer sat in the airflow but under glazing through which the cockpit can be seen. The Mk I is the first production form of the type.
Colored relief interior elements, made according to the name by 3D printing. The instrument panel, the controls and the labels have raised relief and come ready in color, so the small dials do not have to be painted with a brush. The elements are printed on carrier decal paper and are applied by the wet method: the part is cut out, soaked in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on gloss clear; a decal softener and a decal fixer do not belong on it, as the chemicals would attack the printed resin. The set is prepared for the kit from I Love Kit in 1:48 scale.
For builders of interwar aircraft who want the cockpit finished before they start on the struts and the rigging. On a biplane there is no going back to the interior later; once the upper wing is in place, work inside is over. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
