Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a color detail accessory. The parts are printed with 3D technology, colored as they are printed and laid down on decal (water-slide) paper. The set gives the instrument panel, the levers and the seats of the open cab full color and three-dimensional relief without your having to spray and mask the interior at length. It is prepared for one particular plastic kit of this truck in 1:48 scale. The set is designed around the Tamiya kit.
The GMC CCKW 353 was an American 2.5-ton 6x6 truck, nicknamed the Deuce and a Half or the Jimmy, and it was the backbone of Allied logistics in the Second World War. The open cab version with a canvas roof was built in the later part of the war to save material. The long-wheelbase 353 trucks carried supplies across Europe and the Pacific.
The parts are applied like ordinary decals: cut them out, dip them in water for a moment and transfer them to a previously clear-coated surface. Do not use a decal softener or setting solution at all, as they would attack the printed resin. On more broken-up areas a thin layer of gloss clear helps as extra adhesive. It is worth sanding the original raised plastic detail away first.
This is a stand-alone detail accessory, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
