The publisher is Furball Aero-Design, an American specialist in decals for naval aviation, whose sheets are popular for their accurate color registration and thin film.
The Boeing EA-18G Growler is a two-seat carrier electronic warfare aircraft of the US Navy derived from the two-seat version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter. It serves to jam enemy radars and to suppress air defenses, for which it carries specialized pods on its stores stations and antennas on the wingtips. It is told apart from the Super Hornet precisely by these additions and by the absence of the nose cannon.
With extensive sheets it pays to work one aircraft at a time rather than the whole sheet at once, or it is easy to lose track of what belongs where. Prepare the surface with gloss clear, trim the decals close and soak them only briefly, as a long soak washes the adhesive out. Place large fuselage markings on a dampened area so that they can still be moved. Use a decal softener on panel lines and let the decal settle without intervening. Choose a final clear coat on the matte side; modern tactical finishes have no sheen.
