Eduard LööK — the instrument panel for the Grumman F-14A Tomcat 1:48 is a finished color 3D-printed panel supplemented by pre-painted steel seat belts for a better cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The LööK set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings a finished color instrument panel made by 3D printing, where the instruments, the dials and the glossy dial faces are printed directly onto the three-dimensional relief. The package moreover contains pre-painted seat belts in steel, which thanks to their stiffness hold a realistic shape and can be bent naturally over the seat. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the cockpit that replaces the basic parts from the kit.
The Grumman F-14A Tomcat is an American two-seat carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing, in service with the US Navy from the 1970s. It excelled with powerful engines, a radar and long-range missiles intended for the defense of carrier groups. The roomy cockpit with the pilot's richly broken down instrument panel is among its recognition features.
The panel is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in place of the original plastic part; the steel belts can be shaped with tweezers and attached with cyanoacrylate glue as well. We recommend degreasing the surface and handling the printed color layer carefully, so that it is not scratched. The panel is intended for Grumman F-14A Tomcat models in 1:48 scale.
This is a cockpit accessory, not a complete kit. Glue and the base model are not included in the package.
