A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Print Scale. It offers national insignia, codes and technical lettering for the American carrier-based Grumman TBF Avenger torpedo bomber. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the kit decals and widens the choice of finishes. The airplane model itself has to be bought separately.
The Grumman TBF Avenger was an American single-engine carrier-based torpedo bomber of the Second World War. It was committed above all with the US Navy in the Pacific, where it became the main torpedo and bombing machine of the carrier air groups. It was marked by a rugged structure, a roomy bomb bay and a dorsal gun turret.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents silvering. Cut the part out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it off the backing onto its place once it has softened. We recommend using a decal softener and finally sealing the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
