A resin detail set for experienced modelers, intended for models of the Hawker Hunter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory - accurate thin castings of the covers and doors of the landing gear, which replace the thicker plastic parts and look more realistic, especially when looking into the landing gear bays.
The landing gear doors are clearly visible on a model displayed on a stand. The resin covers have a faithful thickness and inner structure with stiffeners, so that exposed landing gear looks fine and convincing. The set is intended for the British Hawker Hunter jet fighter.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean the thin covers up. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Bring out the inner side of the doors with shading and a fine wash, so that the stiffeners stand out.
This is a resin accessory set, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
