The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter of the Second World War and in the Battle of Britain it made up a more numerous part of the fighter defense than the later and more famous types. The main gear retracted into the wing and the legs and bays were partly covered by shaped doors. Those are exactly what is clearly visible on a model: with the aircraft standing on the ground the gear is extended and the doors face the observer.
This is an accessory set of landing gear doors for 1:48 scale from the Quickboost line, under the manufacturer's part number QB48943. The set replaces the corresponding parts from the kit and it concentrates on a finer execution of the shape and the edges. Which kit it is intended for should be checked in the manufacturer's instructions, and it is better to try the parts dry before gluing.
The parts are not polystyrene, so they are glued with super glue. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest away carefully, so that you do not shorten the edge. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will peel off while they are handled.
The set is for a modeler who wants the landing gear finer than it comes out of the kit and does not want to rebuild the whole model for that. The aircraft model itself, the paints and the glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
