This resin detail set captures the landing gear bays of the Hawker Sea Fury aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic bays with a faithful relief of stiffeners, piping and wall structure.
The Hawker Sea Fury is a British carrier fighter with a radial engine and one of the most capable piston fighters of its era. It was introduced in the postwar period and proved itself in later conflicts as well. Open landing gear bays reveal the interesting internal structure of the wing.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays come into their own once they are painted and a dark shade is run into the recesses.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
