A resin Hawker Siddeley Harrier (early) ejection seat in 1:48 scale: a 3D-printed accessory for refining the cockpit of models of the vertical takeoff Harrier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A standalone resin ejection seat produced by 3D printing, meant as a replacement for the simplified seat from a plastic kit. It is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory for the cockpit of models of early Harrier versions. The sharply printed straps and mechanism lift the realism of the interior at once.
The Hawker Siddeley Harrier is a British combat aircraft capable of vertical and short takeoff and landing (V/STOL), introduced at the end of the 1960s. The early versions served with the Royal Air Force and with the US Marine Corps and were fitted with an ejection seat that allowed the machine to be left safely even at very low speeds.
Wash the part clean of uncured print resin, cut off the print supports and clean the part up, then glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a base primer, then the base color and toning with a wash to bring out the detail of the straps and the handles.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package.
