This product is not an airplane model but a resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand (Aires). It holds a set of finely cast exhaust pipes with open outlets that replace the parts from the kit and refine the look of the sides of the engine section. Without the base aircraft kit you cannot use it.
The Hawker Tempest was a British fighter from the end of the Second World War. The rows of exhaust pipes along the sides of the forward fuselage are prominently on view; resin castings with hollowed-out outlets offer a more faithful shape than a solid plastic part allows.
Separate the parts from the casting block, clean up the mating surfaces and wash the mold release agent off the castings. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding resin. Spray the exhausts in burnt metal and rust shades and pick them out with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and requires the base aircraft kit, which is not included in the package.
