An MH models 1:48 masking set for spraying the markings of the Heinkel He 111H-16. An accessory for a model for modelers who would rather spray the markings than apply them. The set is cut for the ICM kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
You are not buying a model of the aircraft but an accessory for one: a sheet of pre-cut masks from MH models focused on the markings of the He 111H-16. The insignia are created by spraying through a template, so they become part of the layer of paint. The make-up of the sheet is not stated here.
The fuselage codes and lettering on the He 111 are laid out across pressings, covers and riveted seams. That is exactly where a decal most often misbehaves: either it does not settle, or it forms a fold through the softener in a place where there should not be one. A sprayed insignia does not have this problem, because it follows the surface exactly as it is.
Before applying the mask, treat the area with gloss varnish and let it cure. Place the mask according to the panel lines, not by eye. With insignia that have inner openings, seat the main shape first and only then the inner parts. Spray perpendicular to the surface, because an angled coat gets paint under the edge of the mask. After removing it, check the edge against the light and repair any run with a brush and the base color. The masks are cut to fit the ICM kit.
The set is cut for a particular kit in 1:48 scale, so please check the match with your model before you buy. Paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
