A resin and 3D-printed detail set, engines for the Heinkel He 115B in 1:48 scale for Special Hobby kits. It is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement engines.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed resin and 3D-printed set from the CMK brand (the Special Hobby group) intended to improve the plastic kit of the Heinkel He 115B floatplane in 1:48 scale from Special Hobby. It is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement engines with removable cowlings. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
It replaces the simplified engines from the original kit with faithfully worked BMW 132 radial engines with open service panels. It allows the model to be shown with the powerplant exposed, a popular way of making a finished aircraft more attractive and more realistic.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and dry-fit them into the engine nacelles. Bond only with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Paint the engine and bring it out with a wash before you fit it into the model.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
