A detail set of exhaust stacks for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:48 scale from Eduard. The parts are made by direct 3D printing, have realistically hollowed mouths and a fine structure that injected plastic usually cannot manage. The set replaces the plastic exhausts in the base kit and is intended for Hurricane Mk.I models.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and a key weapon during the Battle of Britain. The exhaust stacks along the sides of the engine cowling are among its prominent and plainly visible features.
Separate the exhausts from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a faithful look we recommend a combination of metallic and rusty brown shades, finished if you like with pigments for a burnt steel effect. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete aircraft model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
