A detail accessory for models of the Soviet Polikarpov I-153 Chaika biplane in 1:48 scale. It is a vacuum-formed clear canopy from the Rob Taurus brand, and the package contains two pieces. It is not an airplane model but replacement glazing. The set is intended for the ICM kit.
Thin-walled and clear glazing looks more faithful in scale and shows the cockpit interior better than the thicker part from the box. Two pieces in the package give you a margin when cutting.
Cut the parts out with a margin, sand the edges down gently and check the fit dry. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue or a glue for clear parts so that the glazing does not fog.
The accessory does not contain the plastic model or the paints; it serves only as a replacement canopy.
