This is a 3D printed resin set of exhaust stacks for models of the Polikarpov I-16 type 5 fighter in 1:48 scale. The parts have open mouths and a finely worked surface that is hard to reach in plastic. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for the engine section. The exhausts are prepared for the I-16 kit from Zvezda.
The exhausts replace the simplified plastic parts and give the engine section a realistic look thanks to the hollow mouths and the sharp edges. The set is intended for I-16 type 5 models.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, carefully separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a faithful look we recommend metallic and burnt shades with a final patina of weathering pigments. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
