Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched instrument panel from the manufacturer Yahu Models in 1:48 scale for the late standard of the Romanian I.A.R. 80 fighter. It is not a kit of an airplane but a finished accessory for the pilot's compartment. The multi-layer photo-etch gives the panel a three-dimensional look and the dial faces printed in color are coated with a layer imitating the glass of the dials.
The I.A.R. 80 is a Romanian single-engine fighter of the Second World War period. More than one standard came about over the course of production, differing among other things in armament and in cockpit equipment; this panel matches the later machines. The layout of the instruments on the late machines differs from the early ones, which is why Yahu offers both variants on their own.
Separate the part from the fret, clean it up and glue it in with a small amount of super glue. Do not paint over the color print; at most deepen the contrast with a dark wash. The panel replaces the part from the base kit in the same scale.
This is an accessory for a cockpit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
