Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese experimental single-seat Mitsubishi Ka-14 fighter in 1:48 scale from Fine Molds. The model captures the characteristic inverted gull wing, the fixed undercarriage and the open engine cowling of the prototype.
The Ka-14 was the first prototype of the later A5M carrier fighter (Imperial Japanese Navy, Type 96), known to the Allies as Claude. The all-metal low-wing monoplane with a thin elliptical wing came about to the 9-Shi specification of the middle of the 1930s and was among the first modern Japanese fighters. After the first test flights it received a reworked engine cowling and fuselage.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and sand the joints. Apply primer before painting; an airbrush is recommended for spraying. The natural metal finish of the prototype comes into its own with metallic shades and a fine emphasis on the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
