A set of masking wheel bay plugs from the Omask brand in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit or a part of a model but a modeling aid: soft, flexible foam plugs shaped exactly to the space of the wheel bays of the kit of the Soviet Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik ground-attack aircraft from Tamiya. They are inserted into the open bays before spraying and protect their interior from overspray and unwanted coloring.

Use

• Slide the foam plugs into the wheel bays before spraying paint or varnish.
• You will prevent overspray from getting into the already finished interior of the bays.
• Once the paint has dried you simply take the plugs out; the material is flexible and gentle on the surface.
• The plugs are reusable.

Who it is for

Modelers who want to separate the color of the airframe cleanly from finely worked bays without lengthy masking with tape will appreciate it. The aid is shaped for the Il-2 kit from Tamiya in 1:48 scale.
