This is NOT an aircraft kit but a detail accessory intended to complete a plastic model of the Grumman J2F-5 Duck amphibious biplane in 1:48 scale. It replaces or completes the bracing wires and the struts between the wings, which are the most conspicuous features of a biplane and decide how realistic it looks.
The Grumman J2F Duck was an American single-engine amphibious biplane with a prominent central float faired into the fuselage. It served from the late 1930s with the US Navy and the Coast Guard for observation, liaison and rescue flights. The J2F-5 version was one of the higher-performing production variants.
Separate the parts gently, clean them up and fit them according to the diagram. Tensioning the wires is easier if you pre-drill small holes in the wings and the fuselage and use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The set suits more experienced modelers with a feel for fine work.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
