The set holds landing gear wheels for models of the British SEPECAT Jaguar strike aircraft in the GR.1 and GR.1A versions. The resin castings capture the tire tread pattern and the structure of the hubs faithfully and are an accurate replacement for the simplified plastic parts.
The wheels raise the realism of the landing gear at once. The rendering of the tread and the sidewalls comes out superbly after painting and a light shading that emphasizes the wear of the tires.
Before fitting, separate the parts from their casting lugs and clean the grease off them. They are bonded with super glue, ideally over a coat of primer.
