Eduard 1:48 exhaust stacks for the Ju 88A PRINT — a 3D-printed resin accessory that replaces the plastic exhausts of the kit. It is not a model, but a detail set for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of exhaust stacks for the engines of the German Junkers Ju 88A bomber. It is an accessory for advanced modelers, not a stand-alone model — the parts directly replace the exhaust stacks from the 1:48 plastic kit and are intended for models from Eduard and ICM. Direct 3D printing faithfully captures the hollow mouths of the exhausts, which plastic often lacks.
The Ju 88A was one of the most widespread German bombers of the Second World War, a versatile machine used both as a level and as a dive bomber. It was powered by Junkers Jumo engines, from whose sides protruded the characteristic rows of exhaust stacks — a detail well exposed to view along the engine nacelles.
Wash the parts free of any print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come into their own after a primer and rusty metallic shades followed by a wash. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
