A resin replacement set of late-type main landing gear wheels and a tail wheel for models of the Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber and night fighter and the later C-6/G versions in 1:48 scale. The castings replace the production plastic wheels with a more faithful rendering of tread and hubs.
The landing gear of a large twin-engine aircraft is very much on view. Resin wheels have sharper tread and finer hubs than production plastic and better capture the late versions of the Junkers.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and clean them up. They are glued with super glue. Paint the tires in a matte dark gray and the hubs in an RLM shade, and weather them lightly with dust and mud; masking the tread helps for a clean finish.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
