This is not a model of the aircraft but a detail set. It brings a resin wing rack (carrier) for the aerial torpedo armament of the German bomber Junkers Ju 88A in 1:48 scale, including the cover of the electrical release mechanism. It makes it possible to build the torpedo-carrying variant of the machine with a faithfully rendered mounting.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a versatile German twin-engined bomber of the Second World War, deployed as a medium bomber, a dive bomber and a torpedo bomber. In the torpedo-bomber role it carried special racks under the wings for aerial torpedo armament.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Seat the rack according to its position on the lower surface of the wing and strengthen the joint; after painting, add fine traces of service grime. The set is intended for an ordinary 1:48 kit of the Ju 88A.
The set contains only the resin parts of the rack. The aircraft kit, the torpedo, glue and paints need not be included in the package.
