Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut masking templates for spraying the Japanese national insignia (hinomaru) and markings on a model of the heavy fighter Kawasaki Ki-45 Toryu in 1:48 scale. On a twin-engined machine with large wing and fuselage surfaces a sprayed marking is especially rewarding - large decals are hard to lay down on rounded surfaces, whereas a sprayed insignia always sits.
The Kawasaki Ki-45 Kai Toryu (Dragon Slayer), Nick by the Allied designation, was a twin-engined heavy fighter of the Japanese army. It was deployed as an escort and ground-attack machine and made its name above all in the role of night fighter in the defense of the Japanese islands against the raids of B-29 bombers, among other things with obliquely installed armament. The dark night camouflage of the Toryu is a rewarding subject for weathered builds.
The surface underneath must be cured and degreased. Place the masks according to the documentation for the machine you have chosen, press the edges down thoroughly and apply the paint in light layers. On dark camouflage, count on a white undercoat beneath the red so that the insignia stays saturated. Once the templates are off, the markings can be worked seamlessly into the weathering of the whole model.
A masking accessory - the kit, the paints and the decals are not included in the package.
