This resin, 3D-printed detail set from Art Scale is meant to improve the plastic kit of the German army motorcycle Zündapp KS 750 in 1:35 scale. The set contains a set of wheels with a faithful tire tread and the left and right cylinder heads of the air-cooled boxer. It is not a standalone model but replacement parts that lift the level of detail of the basic kit. The manufacturer recommends the set for the GWH kit.
The Zündapp KS 750 was a heavy service motorcycle of the Wehrmacht, related in design to the BMW R75. It was powered by a 750 cc two-cylinder boxer and was most often used with a sidecar with a driven wheel. It stood out for its mobility in rough terrain on the Eastern and the African fronts.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The wheels and the cylinders are rewarding for bringing out the shadows with a wash and a dry brush; we recommend evening the tires out with a matte color.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
