A kit of the Kawasaki T-4 jet trainer in the form of the Blue Impulse display team, according to the designation of the edition for 2024. The model is made to be glued and sprayed by your own hand.
The T-4 is a Japanese subsonic trainer with two engines and a tandem cockpit, which with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force covers the training between the basic and the combat stage. Its high-mounted wing and pleasant flying qualities make it a rewarding platform for formation aerobatics, and that is why the home display team reached for it too. Its aircraft wear a white and blue finish whose form changes slightly from season to season.
White calls for patience. Spray it over a light primer in several light coats, so that the plastic does not show through. Apply the blue areas only once the white has cured and mask the boundary with thin tape run along an engraved line. Create a gloss before the decals, or silvering will appear on the large markings. Better to cover the clear cockpit canopy with film and fit it at the very end.
The parts are supplied on sprues, unpainted and unassembled. Paints and glue are not included.
