Quickboost Kfir C2/C7 - resin pitot tube 1:48 as a stronger and more accurate replacement for the plastic part.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Quickboost is not an aircraft model but a resin pitot tube (the airspeed sensor) with which, in 1:48 scale, you replace the fragile or coarse plastic part on a kit of the Israeli IAI Kfir fighter in the C2 and C7 versions. The casting is more slender and straighter, and yet strong.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli fighter aircraft derived from the Dassault Mirage design, powered by an American General Electric J79 engine and fitted with canard foreplanes. The pitot tube on the nose measures the airspeed and is among the small but conspicuous details of the silhouette; the C2 and C7 versions were the most numerous.
Wash the casting in water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Separate it from the casting block by cutting and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate); fit the part at the end of the build so that it does not break off. Wear respiratory protection for any sanding.
It is supplied as an unpainted set of resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
