A standalone figure for dioramas on the theme of May 1945. It depicts a man in the dress of the uniformed police, that is a figure that is never missing from period photographs of the streets of Czech towns. The 1:48 scale links it with aircraft models of the same ratio and with the vehicles made in it, so the figure offers a viewer a comparison of sizes.
It is a member of the uniformed police from the last weeks of the war. The dress of the time was built on cloth of a darker shade, a belt with fittings and headgear with a service badge. The details differed according to the town and according to what happened to be available, so before mixing the colors it is worth looking at a photograph from the spring of that year.
A lighter base has proved itself, over it the basic area of the uniform and finally a thin dark coat that runs into the folds and draws out the cut. The face stands out when, after the skin layer, the forehead, the nose and the cheekbones are gently brought up. So that the figure does not stand on a smooth surface, lay it on a thin layer of modeling putty and press the texture of paving into it. Small scuffs on the boots and on the edges of the equipment will give the figure the impression of a long tour of duty behind it.
