The set refines the cockpit's appearance with significantly more detailed ejection seats, including a finely cast shell, straps, and small elements that injection-molded plastic cannot render as faithfully. The exact contents and material (resin and/or photo-etch) depend on the specific package. Thanks to the higher level of detail, the seat noticeably lifts the look of the model's open cockpit once painted.
First wash the resin parts to remove residual release agent, carefully cut them from the casting blocks, and sand with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate (super glue); bend any photo-etched parts along an edge. Paint the seats and pick out the straps and details before fitting them into the cockpit; check the fit dry before gluing.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. Using it requires the base L-29 kit in 1:48 scale, which is not included in the package.
