Quickboost L-39ZA Albatros – wing pylons 1:48

A detailed resin accessory from Quickboost (Aires). It is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement wing pylons (the underwing pylons) that takes the place of the less successful parts from the plastic kit. The accessory is intended for building a model of the L-39ZA Albatros trainer and light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale, and it will be appreciated above all by advanced modelers who want more faithful and sharper detail.

Working and use

• Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent (lukewarm water with detergent) and let them dry.
• Cut the resin parts from the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean the cut up.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate, CA); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin.
• Sand and cut with respiratory protection and ideally wet; do not inhale resin dust.
• The parts replace the original plastic pylons on the undersides of the wings; fit them once the mating surfaces are cleaned up.
