This add-on set from the manufacturer Quickboost, the resin division of the Czech company Aires, is not a model but replacement resin parts for models of the four-engine Avro Lancaster B Mk.I bomber in 1:48 scale. It holds the radiator flaps, which can be shown in the open position.
The Avro Lancaster B Mk.I was the key British heavy night bomber of the Second World War. The radiator flaps of the engine nacelles tend to be simplified on a plastic kit and left in the closed position. The resin parts allow a more faithful rendering with the internal structure suggested and with the open position, which gives the nacelles more life.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut the casting blocks away carefully. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with protection for your breathing. Paint the flaps with an airbrush before fitting them and bring the recesses out with a wash.
An add-on set in resin, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
