The set contains two 3D printed resin models of the Lewis Mk.III observer (flexible) aircraft machine gun in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft kit: it replaces the simplified plastic weapons with a faithfully rendered resin part.
The Lewis was a British light machine gun with a characteristic cylindrical barrel cooling shroud, widely used as a defensive aircraft weapon in the First as well as the Second World War. The drum magazine and the ribbing of the shroud are among its most conspicuous features, which 3D printing captures very finely.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
