About product

1:48 Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor - ejection seat (RESArm)

This is a standalone resin accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The set holds a finely executed ejection seat printed with modern 3D technology, meant as a replacement for the simplified seat from the plastic kit of the fifth-generation F-22 Raptor fighter in 1:48 scale.

What it is for

The seat is the most conspicuous feature of an open cockpit. A resin replacement brings sharply cast straps, firing handles, padding and small mechanical detail that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. Once painted it markedly lifts the realism of the cockpit.

Usage tips

  • Wash the parts clean of uncured print resin residue and cut them off the print supports.
  • Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Do the sanding and cleaning up with respiratory protection.
  • Bring the seat out in the shades of the cockpit and underline the straps with a wash.

Who it is for

  • Modelers building the F-22 Raptor in 1:48 scale
  • Anyone interested in maximum detail in an open cockpit
  • More advanced modelers used to working with resin

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.

FAQ

No, it is only a detailed resin seat for the cockpit. The basic model of the aircraft is not included and you need to have it.

Light modeling resin worked by 3D printing. It is glued with super glue, not with ordinary cement for plastic.

1:48 scale. It replaces the seat in the cockpit of the F-22 Raptor fighter.
