This set contains photo-etched seat belts in steel, pre-painted and self-adhesive. It is not a model but a quick and effective accessory for the cockpit of the American twin-boom Lockheed P-38H Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale. The steel version holds its shape better and drapes more attractively than paper or plastic belts.
Separate the parts from the fret carefully with a sharp knife and move them with tweezers. Steel holds a bend, so the belts are easy to shape over the edges of the seat. For better adhesion and a matte look they can be oversprayed with clear varnish. The work is quick and even a less experienced modeler will manage it.
This is only a belt accessory, not a model or a kit. The base model and the paints are not included in the package.
