This is an accessory for detailing the cabin of a helicopter, not a model. The relief colored decal transfers a raised texture and faithful colors onto the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seat belts. The set is also complemented by printed resin parts for more three-dimensional detail. It is tuned for the plastic kit of the Lynx AH-7 from Airfix in 1:48 scale and takes the place of painting and photo-etched parts.
The Westland Lynx AH-7 is a British multi-role army helicopter used for transport, liaison and anti-tank duties. Its glazed cabin with the crew stations clearly visible makes a faithful interior a striking focal point on a finished model.
The decal parts are moistened and transferred onto the surfaces as a waterslide decal, and the resin parts are cut off the casting blocks and glued on with super glue. Once dry, the interior can be fixed with a matte varnish. Glue, paints and a kit are not included in the package.
