This resin set from Aires replaces the moving control surfaces of a model of the Italian Macchi C.202 fighter in 1:48 scale, in the variant matching late production. It is not a model of an aircraft but a refining accessory. It holds the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder with faithful ribbing and with the option of seating them in a deflected position.
The Macchi C.202 Folgore was an Italian fighter of the Second World War period with an inverted V12 engine derived from a licensed Daimler-Benz. During production it went through small modifications that set early and late production apart. It is the late machines that have the rendering of the control surfaces this set matches.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. Before gluing, check that the shape matches the late version of your model. Use cyanoacrylate for gluing and seat the surfaces deflected if you wish.
This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a kit on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
