The basic mask set from the Czech manufacturer New Ware for plastic models of the heavy fighter Do 335B-2 Pfeil. The set in kabuki tape, in the BASIC level, holds masks for the cockpit glazing, the other clear parts and the wheels. The pre-cut shapes make sure the frames are crisp without cutting by hand directly on the model.
The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil was a German fighter of the end of the Second World War with an unusual arrangement of two engines in tandem, one driving a tractor propeller at the front and the other a pusher propeller at the rear. Thanks to that it was among the fastest propeller-driven machines of its day. The B-2 version was the heavily armed combat variant. The cockpit glazing with its prominent framing is a rewarding feature for masking.
Apply the masks onto a degreased and smooth finish. The pre-cut parts fit the frames exactly, so cutting with a knife is done away with. Kabuki tape adapts to curved surfaces and once the work is done it can be removed without adhesive residue. Cover large open areas with ordinary tape or film before spraying.
This is a masking accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
