New Ware 1:48 Me 262B-1a/CS-92 BASIC is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set of kabuki tape for models of the two-seat variant of the Me 262B-1a jet aircraft and its postwar CS-92 form, at the basic BASIC level.
Responsibility details are not available.
A basic masking set from the Czech manufacturer New Ware for plastic models of the two-seat Me 262B-1a and its postwar Czechoslovak version, the CS-92. The kabuki tape set at the BASIC level contains masks for the cockpit glazing, the other clear parts and the wheels. The pre-cut shapes give sharp frames without cutting by hand directly on the model.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first operationally deployed jet fighter in the world. The B-1a version was the two-seat form with a tandem cockpit, used above all for training. After the war a two-seat variant designated CS-92 was built in Czechoslovakia by Avia. The extensive glazing of the two-seat cockpit with its dense framing makes masking a prominent element of the overall impression of a model.
Apply the masks onto degreased and smooth paint. The pre-cut parts fit the frames exactly, so cutting with a knife falls away. Kabuki tape adapts to curved surfaces and once the work is done it can be taken off without adhesive residue. Cover large open areas with ordinary tape or film before spraying.
This is a masking accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
